Vacation
I've been on vacation since Wednesday. Unfortunately I still have class and unlike February, I didn't cancel class. Fortunately, it is raining outside right now--a good time to be in class.
Earlier this summer Bill installed a gutter on the garage and directed the water into a the black rain barrel that we made with a recycled blue barrel (spray painted black), a window screen, bungee cords, and a faucet. We use the water from the barrel to water our gardens and potted plants. Having the barrel has really cut down on using the city water. 
Nasturtiums are blooming and sunflowers are growing taller and taller.
