I heard that when Jilbert's what purchased by Dean Foods of Wisconsin, the company began considering ending Jilbert's ice cream. Who will make Mint Mackinaw Island Fudge ice cream? I had bubble gum ice cream a few weeks ago. It had a lot of gum in it. :)

Tomatoes are finally starting to turn red.

The fireplace that we scored from the back of some Yooper's truck fits perfectly under the window.

Finishing under his goal time of 1:40 in the 2008 Ore to Shore, Jose finished 20th out of the 504 men who rode the 28-mile race and 2nd in his age group!

Some say it was the huge pepperoni, mushroom pizza he at at the UpFront the night before.

Others say it was the big 29" wheels that made the difference.

All I say is next year he better be riding that same baby blue Gary Fischer steel hardtail bicycle. Ole! More pictures at flickr.

HOORAY! I finished my final paper for my summer classes! 10 of my 28 credits were completed in 2 1/2 months! I'm ready for summer!
