The first day in the house...We closed on our house March 30, 2005. It was full of doiley, lacey, frilly curtains, Easter egg pastel paint, old, dirty ceiling fans, and carpet. Lots of carpet.
We made a plan of attack:
1) Remove the funk
2) Paint
3) Get ready for our renters to move in.
My sister Em and Jon closed on their house in Colorado Springs today. They are in the process of removing the funk.

Looking at these pictures helps me not feel so bad. staying here for thanksgiving and working on finishing the projects and eating brunch at the broadmoor... yum!
Yum...brunch out means no dishes, but probaly no leftovers either.
