Lots of information about free range, organic, nitrate free, and natural foods.

Hybrid and electric vehicles - cars and trucks. Grilled cheese sandwiches too.
Enlarge the truck picture to see the grilled cheese eating.
There were a few animals- cows, pigs, sheep, chickens.

There was live music, scarecrow-making, an apple cider press, and hot dog roasting.

Delicious sauerkraut being made.

Egg on Toast

Bill went for a long bike ride and I went to a kettle bell class at the PEIF. When we got home we drove over to Bill's parents to fix up his dad's bike -- new wheels. It was 9:01 when we left their house--exactly one hour from when we left our driveway. After returning cans and bottles at Econo -$6.50 we went home and had eggs and toast for supper.

It was so delicious last night that Bill made them for breakfast today. Yum.

2008 Halloween Costume
Frozen Pizza and Beer

Last night Bill and I both went to work in the evening. Bill had a presentation in one of the halls and I plugged away in my quiet office until about 7:30. We are cleaning out the refrigerator this week--no major grocery shopping before our trip down to New Holstein. So there weren't too many options other than tons of vegetables from our Seeds and Spores weekly delivery.

We opted for frozen pizza and beer. Jack's Original for Bill and DiGiorno Spicy Chicken Supreme for me. Sierra Nevada Pale Ale for both.

The Spicy Chicken pizza was DELICIOUS. I even saved some for lunch today.

The first day in the house...
We closed on our house March 30, 2005. It was full of doiley, lacey, frilly curtains, Easter egg pastel paint, old, dirty ceiling fans, and carpet. Lots of carpet.
We made a plan of attack:
1) Remove the funk
2) Paint
3) Get ready for our renters to move in.
My sister Em and Jon closed on their house in Colorado Springs today. They are in the process of removing the funk.
