Police in our neighborhood.There have been real police in our neighborhood--neighborly disputes over property lines a few houses down, good and welfare checkups on a dog in the back of a pickup truck, and someone was pulled over the other day. The two in the photo (from the kitchen window) race the sports car and police car around the block and sometimes the police car pulls over the red sports car. Usually, though, the sports car drives faster than the police car.
The day the speeder was pulled over I hoped these two would be out driving around. Sure enough, about five minutes into the interaction between the real officer and the driver, the mini police car was checking out the scene on the street.
