In the oven...

Homemade pretzels -- So easy!

Some of the steps:

The recipe I followed makes 8 pretzels -- I made 16 so they were half the size--still pretty big though!
I used the big frying pan to boil the pretzels -- 10 cups water, 2/3 cup baking soda, then egg wash and salt before going into the oven.

Wow, these look great! I do not remember licorice, but Dad remembers the gum.

you don't?? you have to eat the licorice first, then the gum!
