A Little R and R

We ordered 10 yard of topsoil earlier this spring and dumped most of it over there on the right where all of the new green grass is. Our neighbors (who have amazing yards) keep coming over to check the progress of our back yard grass. So far so good. Bill applied a second coat of grass seed to the thinner areas and it has filled in nicely. Consistent rain these last couple weeks has hopefully made our upcoming water bill less freeky.

Our rain barrels have been set up for a while and now we have it so the overflow goes right into the next barrel. Two full 55-gallon barrels of water for the rest of the yard.
