There were about 25 surfers out in the lake this morning. Somehow they knew that the waves were going to be coming from the right direction--they had driven from Wisconsin and Minnesota! When I came home from my bike ride I found this website and on their forum they mention surfing here in MQT. http://www.superiorsurfclub.com/

awesome pics! i love that people surf the big lake. my sister lives in san diego and her surfer beau can't get his head around the idea of surfing in the lake. i'll need to show him the proof!!
